- ♦ Water Flux (Pre Flux)- It has to be dissolved in water in Pre Flux tank before galvanizing.
- ♦ Blanket Flux- It has to be used on molten zinc to form a black layer that does not allow zinc to react with air (oxygen).
Our Galvanizing Flux is Zinc Ammonium Chloride based, which is of two types:-
1. HCI-Water Flux (Pre-Flux)
Haryana chemical industries offers a wide range of galvanizing flux, it is formulated for high speed, low fuming, negligible ash for strong and uniform Zinc coats. It is in solid and solution form which is used in the coating of tube, pipe, wire, small parts such as bolts and nuts, fencing in many parts. Flux is formation of high quality, adherent galvanized coating. It minimizes the wastage and produces less smoke.
It is a combination of organic and inorganic based surfactant, additives with wetting agents and salts of chlorides which unite together at certain temperatures to form a single complex compound. The pre flux removes oxides from the work and protects the work from further oxidation, thus resulting in a clean surface for the reaction of galvanizing.
Benefits of the flux:
♦ Enables uniform coating.
♦ Provides strong metal to metal bonding.
♦ Decreases production cost.
♦ Reduces formation of ash and dross.
♦ Gives Lasting brightness.
♦ One pack system.
We also customize fluxes to suit specific requirements for galvanizing of towers, structures, tubes, sheets, wires, nut-bolts, high mast, strips etc.
Types of Flux | Minimum Zinc Percentage | ACN |
---|---|---|
Mono | 33 | 0.39 |
Double | 26 | 0.79 |
Triple | 22 | 1.17 |
Quadra | 19 | 1.56 |
★. HCI-Nickel Based Water Flux:
The presence of nickel in zinc bath gives smoothness and brightness to the coating and reduces dross generation. We add nickel in water flux in such a form that it acts quickly with molten zinc to impart bright galvanized output.
★. HCI-Liquid Flux:
As the name indicates it is liquid in nature, due to its distinctive liquid property it is easily accessible by the consumers. This flux cleans the steel, making a thin coating on metal surface which further prevents rusting at the time of galvanizing and confirms the zinc metal adhesion. It is used in -
- Continuous Galvanizing line:-Like CGL, CGR, Wire Galvanizing.
- Hot Dip Galvanizing:-Like pipes, structure, nut bolts ,high mast etc.
2. HCI-Blanket Flux (Top Flux)
Our flux is a combination of salts and special additives which gives thick foam for a longer time on molten zinc and does not allow it to react with air.
Benefits of the Flux :
♦ Reduces formation of dross.
♦ Good stability.
♦ Saves zinc.
♦ Controls zinc coating.
♦ Controls heat loss.
♦ Controls spattering of molten zinc.
Ammonium Chloride (NH4CI), inorganic, colorless crystal component that is soluble in water. It comes from the reaction of hydrochloric acid and ammonia. The ammonium chloride is available in best quality and used in various manufacturing industries. It is mainly used in cleansing products, plywood glue, pyrotechnics, cough medicine, flavour food industries, shampoos, as electrolyte, antispasmodic and component in metalwork.
